Whew! It was a journey of about a zillion steps, since it had to work for War Bunny, and also have the right set of graphic elements to enable a series of five to seven books, each one looking unique and yet like part of a set.
And also, I have to confess, it was hard to arrive at just the right image because it was going to be a representation of my baby, Anastasia, and it was quite a challenge to create an image that balanced her fierceness and her tenderness.
It turned out to be a tremendous team effort, but I think we arrived at great place in the end. Thanks so much to the very talented designer, Belle McClain!
